As far as a theme for this post goes, I really have to reach for one. After the projects were completed, all I could come up with are rounded containers that have bases. Lame? Yes. I did have fun putting these arrangements together, though.
The white planter pot was made by Frankoma Pottery of Sapulpa, Oklahoma out of red Oklahoma clay. This makes a great container for a collection of spring blooms.
The goblet shaped container is made of very thick, heavy glass. It has a very slight, green tint to it. The vase is perfect for a cheerful variety of colors.
The Shawnee globe planter has stymied me for several years. This time, I decided that a solitary spider mum should work well in this difficult container. A selection of greenery makes a perfect bed for the orange flower.
In the end, it doesn’t matter whether or not I have a particular theme in mind. My creative instincts were alive and even provided a solution for a difficult display problem.
