The holiday season is an especially beautiful time for children. I decided to underline my holiday greeting to you by sharing a couple of winter holiday photographs from my childhood.
These old black and white snapshots were not labeled but they were probably shot in 1957 or 1958. I’m the oldest of the litter. Sister is the middle child and little brother is on the chair.
The snowman came to be at my maternal grandparents farm near Tilden, Nebraska. I’m guessing that my uncle Larry probably helped, because the creation is too tall for my reach. The small dog has my back.
Here is hoping you and your loved ones enjoy a lovely holiday today. May this be the beginning of an excellent year ahead.
Ciao
The Blue Jay of Happiness quotes Benjamin Franklin. “A good conscience is a continual Christmas.”
Thank you. Enjoy a beautiful Christmas.
Oh, what wonderful memories. Brings back memories of my childhood in Norfolk. Snow and all.
Merry Christmas to you.
Enjoy your Arizona Christmas.
