It’s sometimes fun to pair items to create impromptu, mini still-life compositions. That’s what I have in mind for today’s floral offerings. I assembled succulent plant arrangements and display them with complimentary or contrasting things.
The California Pottery fire-orange planter bowl holds cacti and succulent plantings. The yellow onyx sphere compliments the color and shape of the bowl.
Another pairing of cacti and succulents are planted in a cylindrical modern planter. The slice of geode with its pink inner core contrasts with the container and its contents.
I couldn’t resist the tiny T-Rex sitting alone on a close-out shelf at Target this week. It is actually a miniature planter that contains faux plants. The amusing dino is accompanied by a solitary succulent in a short, polished stainless steel vase.
