I was gifted a large bag of faux flowers on Boxing Day, December 26th. I decided to use several of them on the first three projects of this year. I also had three containers that were unique in their own ways. With those constraints in mind, these are the results.
This slag glass basket is a variation of the standard swung vase. Some large, peach colored roses, a few pink tulips and five irises yield a cheerful first project.
The paired swan vase is not Delftware. It’s a Chinese version of the pottery. Small flowers fill the miniature dual opening vase.
A special 75th anniversary Red Wing Pottery “amorphous” dual opening vase was manufactured in 1953. It’s one of my favorite vases, too. A trio of orange Gerberas team up with a cluster of purple Gerberas for a fun, simple arrangement.
