Today’s theme is related to the finishing style of the containers’ edges. Two have wavey features and one is rippled. The edges help determine the overall shapes of each of today’s projects.
Two sharply peaked waves predominate the planter that was styled by an unknown local resident art student. I used the two waves to support and guide the vertical parts of the arrangement. The main bowl contains a small cluster of blooms.
The near-antique swung vase is topped with a rippled design. The dried elements appear to radiate from the vase’s patterned edge.
The tinted glass vase features four finger-like wave tips. The main floral elements spill through the spaces between each “finger” which manifests as a generous display.
