Milk Glass …Floral Friday

This week’s featured containers are three hobnail milk glass vases created by Fenton Art Glass Company. These popular collectables feature traditional styling cues and solid American craftsmanship. Fenton milk glass is still widely available at antiques stores, second-hand shops, and online venues such as eBay.

I assembled a semi-formal, late summer arrangement in this small stemmed vase. The golden tones reflect late summer flora on North America’s Great Plains states.

A small hobnail basket features brighter colors set in greenery to create a cheerful accent arrangement.

The medium large vase was crafted with “double-crimped” edging at the top. This fancy container displays more late summer colors.

  1. The vases are real nice. It must have taken a lot of trial and error before the company figured out how to produce them in quantity.

  2. Jeff Flesch says:

    Beautiful. I adore milk glass.

  3. So lovely. Number 3 looks to me like the flowers are about to burst out. Love it!
