To start the year our right, I decided to dust off three favorite vases to contain this week’s projects. They happen to be formed out of three different materials–porcelain, glass, and solid marble. I’ve also kept the arrangements rather simple as a way to taper back the past holiday season clutter.
An orchid, an iris, and a spider mum are nestled in a framework of pine. The satin green Royal Haeger leaf vase holds the elements together.
The yellow Jane Seymore folded glass vase contains a plethora of blooms that are framed in thin succulents.
Jumbo size blooms require a sturdy vase. Today, we have a heavy, solid marble vase that easily takes care of the job.

The Blue Jay of Happiness quotes entertainer and writer, Charmaine J. Forde:
“JANUARY
The first month of the year,
A perfect time to start all over again,
Changing energies and deserting old moods,
New beginnings, new attitudes.”
Morning. Have you ever done decorating professionally?
No I haven’t. That’s a very intense career choice that is laden with expensive rabbit holes and requires a huge investment of time, keeping up with trends, and networking with contractors, etc. I like more solitary pursuits.
I love them all!
Thanks!
They are all lovely, but the leaf vase and it’s spray really speaks to me.
That vase is a semi-rare collectable and is one of my all-time favorite vintage pieces. Thanks for the kudos.
I love all three, but I don’t remember seeing the marble vase before. It’s very pretty. Maggie
I may have used it once last summer. Otherwise, I have a few marble urns and shorter vases.
