While sorting through yet another plastic tote container from the basement, I stumbled across several small vases that have not been used since a few years ago. I selected three to use as prompts for easy, fast arrangement ideas for today.
A trio of pimelea flowers graces the inside of a mid-20th-century miniature Ewer vase. An abstract, art-glass accent echos the vase.
Tiny orange flowers work well with the miniature Indian brass vase. A handcarved, Indian marble trinket box completes the composition.
An unorthodox number of four mini-Gerberas are displayed with a souvenir vase from Mexico. The small toucan is actually a candle. I don’t have the heart to light the wick.

The Blue Jay of Happiness quotes British-Pakistani writer, Mohsin Hamid. “I’d rather create a miniature painting than a Taj Mahal of a book.”
Beautiful photos. Great post.
Thank you.
Still my favorite day, Swabby!! Great job!
Thank you.
The abstract, swirling glass object in the first photo is really something. You don’t see things like that every day.
For sure. I also enjoy multi-colored art glass.
I wouldn’t light that toucan candle either – it’s awesome! But my favourite is number one. The interesting flowers, the vase and the glass ornament. It’s perfect. Maggie
Thanks. It’s how I envisioned it before gathering the elements together.
