Before planning this week’s floral projects, my mind was obsessing about integration of floral element shapes with container shapes. Then, while gathering the three vases for today’s post, I decided to utilize dry and constructed floral ingredients.
An off-white Burton & Burton vase is styled to emulate a burlap bag. The floral elements all vaguely remind me of the smell and feel of burlap.
The light coral ewer vase is basically the joining of stylized cones. The dry elements, including the paper roses, are also cone-like.
Spheroids are this project’s obvious theme. It was inspired by my make-believe vision of an alien solar system.
