March Finale’ …Floral Friday

The month of transition from wintery to springlike draws to a close today.  We shall soon find out whether “March winds and April showers will bring forth May Flowers”. Until that happens, I have a few projects to tide us over.

A small department store watering can container sets the scene for sunny yellow and orange blooms.  The theme is freshness and growth.

The old Cadillac planter is all about kitsch.  The best blooms for this container are big and showy.

The Royal Haeger shell vase brings a luxurious mood with a more conventional spray of small purple blooms.

The Blue Jay of Happiness mentions this important anniversary, the Eiffel Tower was officially opened in Paris on this day in 1889.
